Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films typically in the horror and martial arts types. Her style and method is similar to The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action flicks and has a fascination with the morbid. After getting some attention in the forums on Channel Awesome (under her previous name Obscurus Lupa) She began to review films in the latter half of 2009. She was on the website up until the end of 2015, at which point Obscurus Lupa Presents became Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts which cover the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She has made numerous appearances in Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. The actress was part in the Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker as well as appear often on episodes of The Nostalgia Critic.
