LeBron Raymone James Sr., born December 30, 1984, is an American professional player of the basket that plays for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA) in the National Basketball Association. Also known as King James he is widely thought of as one of the most successful athletes of all time. He has often been compared with Michael Jordan in debates over who is the greatest basketball player. James has won two Olympic gold medals, as well as four NBA championships. James is the player with the highest points in the playoffs and has the second-highest number in career scoring and is the seventh player with the most ever assists. The NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, a record. He has also been named for The NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. He has participated in 10 NBA Finals. This is the third most of all. Eight were consecutive between 2011-2018. James was chosen for an NBA's 75th Anniversary Team. He became the NBA's first player with 10.000 points, 10,000 rebounds, along with assists by 2022. James born in Akron Ohio, played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School. The national media hailed him as a potential NBA star. James was a pre-pro and was first selected with The Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft in 2003. When he was named the 2004 NBA Rookie Of The Year, he soon became a top player in the NBA and was awarded the NBA MVP Award in 2009 and 2010. James didn't win the championship with Cleveland and then was released in 2010 as a "free agent" in the year 2010. The decision was announced by the television show The Decision.
